Abstract
Multiple ovulation has been induced in the immature and adult rhesus monkey, Macaca mulatta, using a pituitary follicle stimulating substance prepared from rhesus pituitaries followed by a mixture of this fraction with human gonadotropin. The primate source of the pituitary substance may account for repeatedly successful experimental ovulations; however, ovulation has been observed occasionally following the use of sheep pituitary fractions. Keywords
