Abstract
In discussion of a satisfactory routine assay of vit. A, emphasis is laid on the danger of assuming that the constants in the growth: dosage equation are invariant with time and on the necessity of ensuring that the type of growth-response to vit. A and [beta]-carbtene are biometrically indistinguishable. An exptl. plan is descr. whereby constant check can be kept on these points. The constant of slope, b, fluctuates with time, vit. A and B-carotene give similar response curves and interlitter variations are greater than intralitter variations. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
