Abstract
Thermal equilibrium among hadrons in a nuclear fireball is assumed. Pion and nucleon total and differential cross sections are calculated. The pion differential cross section shows structure due to the decay of resonances. For neutron rich projectile-target combinations there is a net conversion of neutrons to protons. Keywords
