Abstract
Recent experimental studies demonstrate that glomerular basement membrane immune deposits may be formed locally or by deposition of intact complexes from the circulation. Electrostatic interactions may play a role in both of these mechanisms and may account, at least in part, for differences in patterns of localization in the various deposition diseases. Keywords
