Abstract
A case-control study involving 327 cases of multiple myeloma (MM) did not confirm that propoxyphene use is a predisposing factor. The evidence that any drugs are involved in the aetiology of MM is very weak. There was some suggestive evidence that x-ray therapy and certain occupations were predictors of MM.Keywords
