Abstract
The concentrations of water, Ca, P, CO3, N, Cl, K and Na in normal human skull, rib and ilium are given. Skull contains significantly greater amounts of Ca, P, CO3, and Na, and lesser amounts of water, N, Cl and K than does ilium. The composition of rib is intermediate between skull and ilium. The concentrations of water, Cl and K are related in quantity to the amount of organic phase present. Na appears to be related to the crystalline phase. Keywords
