Abstract
A novel, rapid and accurate methodological approach is described for determining the number and type of prototropic groups on proteins. Potentialities of calorimetric titrations are illustrated by their application to the characterization and analysis of a modified protein, viz., ovalbumin diazotized with p-aminobenzoic acid. Keywords
