Abstract
beta decay to α+d continuum is studied in a three-body α+N+N approach. The branching ratio for beta-delayed deuteron emission is found to be (3–4)× for three-body and wave functions reproducing the ft value for with great accuracy. The results are sensitive to the neutron halo structure of the nucleus.
