Abstract
We have constructed a chiral-invariant Lagrangian model for single pion photoproduction. We have used this Lagrangian to calculate threshold values for the differential cross sections. These threshold results were found to be in reasonable agreement with recent current-algebra calculations. For the cases where data were available, the comparison with experiment was favorable. Keywords
