Abstract
To the Editor: Recent articles1 2 3 indicate an increase in detection of intracranial aneurysms among more than one member of a kindred. In 30 separate families 44 cases of aneurysms in pairs of siblings have been reported1 2 3 4: 26 families having two siblings with aneurysms, two families having three siblings with aneurysms, and two families having four siblings with aneurysms. These kindreds include eight pairs of brothers, 19 pairs of sisters (including three pairs of identical twins) and 17 brother-sister pairs.
