Random Transfer Integrals and the Electronic Structure of Disordered Alloys

Abstract
Previous theories of off-diagonal disorder in the tight binding model of a binary alloy are found to be incorrect in the dilute limit. We treat this limit exactly, and discuss the extension to arbitrary impurity concentrations.Keywords
