Abstract
In many African countries measles is considered an important cause of blindness. The relationship between measles and xerophthalmia was investigated in Kenya and Indonesia in 1974. The incidence of xerophthalmia in children in those countries and nutritional factors predisposing towards the disease were investigated. Diagnostic techniques are discussed. This publication has 24 references indexed in Scilit:
