The Separation and Analysis of Labelled Antibodies

Abstract
Labelled anti-human gamma globulin was prepared by specific absorption or precipitation of the labelled antibody followed by: (1) elution at a neutral pH with carrier exchange, (2) elution at an acid pH with carrier exchange, or (3) elution with acid alone. The first 2 methods can be applied to both soluble and insoluble antigens, the 3rd method to insoluble antigens only. The various eluates were analyzed and compared with respect to yield, specific activity, avidity, and in vivo stability.
