Abstract
Seventy-one drugs were screened for ability to produce in man a disulfiram-like reaction to alcohol. The incidence of reactions was not greater than might have been expected by chance except with tolazoline hydrochloride. A large proportion of the subjects who received tolazoline reported tingling, warmth, and fullness over the head for a brief period after drinking alcohol.
