Abstract
The collision‐induced satellite bands in the spectra of K—foreign‐gas mixtures were studied. The foreign gases were helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon, nitrogen, isomers of pentane (n‐pentane, isopentane, neopentane), and isomers of hexane (n‐hexane, 3‐methylpentane, 2,3‐dimethylbutane, neohexane). The experimental results for argon, krypton, and xenon were compared with a recently proposed theory of the bands. Keywords
