Abstract
A 4% urea peroxide solution in glycerol with 0.1% oxine, diluted with an equal volume of water was used as a mouthwash and in tooth brushing by six subjects. Cultures from their saliva and direct microscopic examinations on material from gingival crevices revealed a temporary reduction in the numbers of oral micro-organisms after use of the solution. Keywords
