Abstract
I. arvicanthidis, a normal parasite of rats (including Arvicanthus abyssinicus nairobae) is reported for the 1st time as a parasite of man. A redescr. of the parasite if given. Possibly I. cubensis of Kouri is a synonym. Inermicapsifer is possibly related to Raillietina and is therefore a davaineid rather than an anoplo-cephalid. Life history studies can be the only satisfactory answer to this question. Keywords
