Abstract
The labels on bottles of commercial polyvalent antitoxin now being used for prophylaxis and treatment of gaseous gangrene are misleading. No 2 international units for different antitoxins have the same protective power in terms of minimal lethal doses of their respective toxins in mice. Antitoxin amts. should be redefined in terms of approx. equal protective power. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
