Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 34-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of vulvar cellulitis.There was an 11-year history of Crohn's disease, with rectal involvement and perirectal abscesses, for which a colectomy and ileostomy were performed elsewhere 8 years before entry. A long-standing chronic fistula near the right buttock drained fecal material before the colectomy and was dry thereafter. Five years before admission a distal pancreatectomy with splenectomy and cholecystectomy was performed because of repeated bouts of pancreatitis, with the demonstration of calculi in the pancreatic ducts on endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatographic (ERCP) examination.
