Abstract
Application of the technique of forced thermal light scattering allowed the observation of second sound in NaF in spite of the extremely weak coupling between light and thermal fluctuations. The velocity and damping were measured up to 23 K. These measurements extend the results of previous heat-pulse experiments in agreement with theory. Keywords
