Abstract
The electronic structure of Ag87In13and Cu94Ge6has been investigated by measuring the optical absorption and photoelectron energy distributions. The effect of screening on alloying was observed as a lowering of the conduction band. The optical transition across the conduction band gap at theLpoint is identified and discussed. Keywords
