Abstract
Rimberg and Westervelt find a fivefold discrepancy between their experiment and a theoretical prediction for the half-width of their homodyne spectrum. We develop a new theoretical expression which uses boundary conditions appropriate to their experimental geometry, and show that this substantially resolves the discrepancy between theory and experiment. Other aspects of the data are also considered. Keywords
