Abstract
The direct effect of different concentrations of serotonin on T lymphocyte proliferation in vitro was seen in 20 normal individuals. It has been observed that the neurotransmitter had a suppressive effect on mitogen-induced lymphocyte proliferation. This study shows that the effect of serotonin on the immune system is direct. Keywords
