Abstract
The formalism for the analysis of isospin mixing in the decay of compound nuclei has been reformulated to include "upward" mixing of the into the states as well as the usual "down-ward" mixing of into . The ratio of isospin mixing parameters for these two processes, , is evaluated for compound nuclei in the region and is ∼ 0.03. The mixing matrix element has an average value of ∼ 70±40 eV in this mass region.
