Abstract
Growth was favored by (1) incubation temps. between 35 and 40[degree]C, (2) the presence of 10% CO2, (3) a pH of 6.3-7, and (4) an improved and simplified glucose-cysteine agar medium of the following composition: Bacto tryptone 20 g., Bacto beef extract 10 g., glucose 5-10 g., cysteine hydrochloride 0.5 g., di-sodium phosphate 4 g., water 1000 ml.; final pH of autoclaved medium, 6.3-7.This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
