Influence of Arterial Pressure on Intrarenal Pressure

Abstract
The intrarenal pressure (IRP) was measured in dogs by means of a transduced equilibrium method previously descr. Diastolic pressure (BP) was simultaneously measured from a femoral or carotid artery. The effects of hemorrhage, carotid artery occlusion, and renal artery occlusion were studied. The following relationship was found IRP = 0.22 BP + 9.4.
