Abstract
Membrane protein and lipopolysaccharide profiles of Rhizobium leguminosarum (biovars viciae, trifolii, and phaseoli), R. meliloti, and Agrobacterium tumefaciens strains were analyzed and compared by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Differences in one or both profiles allowed us to distinguish all 18 R. leguminosarum strains tested in this study from each other. Keywords
