Abstract
Radioactive labelling showed that the compound formed by strain of Bacillus brevis from incorporation of leucine was tyrocidine, a main component of the antibiotic tyrothricin. The results suggest that tyrocidine is synthesized by a mechanism different from that of protein biosynthesis. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
