Abstract
The authors report a 40 nm (1560 to 1520 nm) quasi-continuous tuning with a minimum output power of 3 mW, sidemode suppression >30 dB and high current tuning efficiency in a vertical grating assisted codirectional coupler laser with a sampled Bragg reflector (GCSR).Keywords
