Abstract
Differential cross sections for He(21S)+Ar have been measured for six kinetic energies between 21 and 180 meV with an improved apparatus. The potential which gives the best fit to the data shows again a maximum instead of only a slope maximum as proposed by Siska and co-workers. Calculated total elastic and inelastic cross sections are in good agreement with recent experimental results. Keywords
