Abstract
The authors present an exact solution for the Hamiltonian of a particle in a harmonic oscillator well which is rotating around a point other than the centre of the potential. In the case where the static potential is isotropic the solution can be performed analytically. This model is used for the description of light nuclei in terms of rotating alpha clusters. Keywords
