Thromboangiitis Obliterans in Women

Abstract
IN SO rare a disorder as thromboangiitis obliterans in women, an association with another disease appears noteworthy. This paper presents 6 personally observed cases of the vascular disease in women, 2 of whom showed concomitant rheumatoid arthritis, whereas 1 gave a history of rheumatic fever. This number is admittedly small, but no large groups of cases of thromboangiitis obliterans are available for study. About 35 cases are recorded in the literature,1 2 3 and in some of them the diagnosis appears uncertain.
