Abstract
The effect of atenolol on visual reaction time was tested in 30 healthy subjects in a between-subject double-blind placebo-controlled trial. Visual reaction time was defined as the time between the display of a light signal and its extinction by the subject. Acute or chronic administration of atenolol had no effect on visual reaction time when compared with placebo. Keywords
