Abstract
We discuss the role of the dynamic Oseen tensor in setting the time scales involved in the scaling of the time-dependent self-diffusion coefficient measured by diffusing wave spectroscopy. We elucidate the paradoxical short time behavior for which scaling is observed and clarify the possible discrepancies between theory and experiments. Keywords
