Abstract
The production of equi factor(s) by 173 serologically verified Corynebacterium equi isolates was tested by streaking strains at right angles to a culture of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis or Staphylococcus aureus on a cattle blood agar plate. All strains produced equi factor(s). This characteristic was more specific than other tests used on the strains. Keywords
