Abstract
Stress fields around 1120 edge dipoles in the basal plane of Mg, Zn and Cd are computed on the basis of anisotropic elasticity (Chou 1963) for different temperatures. The calculated effect of temperature on these stress fields differs substantially from that calculated according to the isotropic model.Keywords
