Abstract
The small brown alga Streblonema oligosporum Strömfelt (Ectocarpaceae, Ectocarpales) is reported for the first time in Britain growing on a toxic test panel in Langstone Harbour, south coast of England. An account of the vegetative and reproductive features of the plant is given along with its life history in laboratory culture. Keywords
