Abstract
High spin states of and nuclei have been studied via (,) and (,) reactions, using in-beam -excitation, coincidence, and measurements. A search for collective bands built on 2-proton-hole states has revealed structures in the even nuclei, which possibly relate to the proton-hole bands in odd- nuclei. No evidence for similar structures was found in . The level schemes of these nuclei are presented and the even-Te systematics are discussed within the context of the collective nature of proton-hole excitations in the region.
