Abstract
The effects of space harmonics in multiwinding double cylindrical structures are analyzed. Terminal characteristics of the machine are obtained by solving the dynamical equations of motion using certain linear transformations. The equivalent circuits are derived from the transformed equations of motion and the effects of current-sheet space harmonics are included. An example is considered and numerical calculations are made and compared with experimental results. For completeness, pertinent definitions and theorems relating to linear algebra are included. Keywords
