Abstract
We investigate the low-energy magneto-optical properties of HgSe:Cr by means of far-infrared spectroscopy in magnetic fields up to 20 T. The obtained spectra are interpreted and analysed in terms of a dynamic, magnetic field-dependent dielectric function. The theoretical model describes the magnetoplasma edge and helicon waves as well as an unusual shift and a dispersion-like To phonon-related structure in HgSe:Cr reflectivity in a magnetic field. Keywords
