Abstract
Vitamin B (the water-soluble growth-promoting complex including vitamins F and G) is abundantly present in certain commercial malt extracts, probably being derived from the original unmalted cereal. With the best extract examined 1.0 gm. per day restored growth in young rats on a B-deficient diet to the average extent of 1.2 gm. per day. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
