Abstract
Experiments have shown the existence of an entrapped circuit wave (circus contractions or movement) in rings of living cardiac and other tissue cut from a variety of animals including mammals, in purely atrial rings, and also in inert iron wire and electronic computers. The presence of an obstacle is an important corollary of the presence of material for a circuit, and the rate of the entrapped wave is related inversely to the length of pathway.This publication has 41 references indexed in Scilit:
