Abstract
A method for the estimation of reducing sugars by the direct titration of boiling alkaline ferricyanide, containing a drop of methylene blue as an indicator. Equivalents are given for glucose, maltose and lactose. Methods are given for estimating sucrose, lactose in milk and glucose in urine, and for estimating the glucose and maltose in a mixture of these sugars. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
