Depopulation of180Tamby bremsstrahlung

Abstract

The

^{180} {Ta}^{m} (γ, γ^{'})^{180} Ta

reaction that was investigated by LINAC produced 4 MeV endpoint energy bremsstrahlung. The decay signatures of

^{180} Ta

were detected, with an effective cross section of

32 \pm 11 μ b;

300 \pm 110 μ b MeV

was found for the reaction cross section integrated up to 4 MeV. The results obtained provide independent confirmation of previously disputed results in the literature.
