Abstract
Factor VII activity was assayed in dogs congenitally deficient in this factor by transfusion of normal plasma and by cross circulation for 3 hr. with normal dogs. The mean half-life of factor VII activity in 18 cross-circulation experiments was 2.8 hr. with a range of 1.1-4.8 hr. Large donors and donors with high values of factor VII activity supplied more factor VII activity to the deficient recipients. Factor VTI activity in the donor dogs fell during and after the cross circulation; at 24 hr. only the large donors were returning toward normal levels. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
