Abstract
In some cases of SOM [secretory otitis media] with serous fluid in the middle ear, N2O administration during general anesthesia causes a rise in MEP [middle ear pressure] sufficient to displace the fluid from the middle ear. This phenomenon was demonstrated in a sequence of tympanometry curves and otoscopic examinations. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
