Abstract
M. corticii* occurs as a parasite on Corticium radiosum Fr. The original descr. is repeated and certain desirable emendments pointed out and discussed. Following a search for the parasite on host specimens deposited in the larger mycological herbaria, the present known distr. was determined as including Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Brit. Columbia, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Utah and Wyoming. The relationship of the genus Martensella with others assigned to the family Kickxel-laceae is discussed and the ultimate union of Coemansia with Martensella is suggested. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
