Laser-Induced Continuum Structure in Xenon

Abstract
Laser-induced continuum structure with a Fano-type line shape has been observed in xenon by the coupling of a bound [] state to the ionization continuum with a tunable dye laser. The continuum was probed by three-photon ionization, two-photon-resonantly enhanced by the state.
