Abstract
A review of the pathology and the respiratory and cardiac manifestations in syringo-bulbia in infants was presented. A case of syringobulbia in a 5-week-old infant is reported in which the electrical sequence of events during attacks of neurogenlc stridor was documented. The pathology of syringobulbia in this infant was discussed and compared with adult syringobulbia. Syringobulbia is proposed as one of the causes of neurogenic stridor in infancy. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
