Abstract
A three-dimensional simulation of EAS (extensive air showers) has been performed at different altitudes, including the new descriptions of electromagnetic cascades (steeper profiles than NKG). The various consequences are investigated: variation of age parameter with distance, effects of shower selection, size under-estimations induced by the treatment of experimental data assuming NKG and uniqueness of age parameter. Keywords
